Is God Impressed With My Worrying?

MATTHEW 6:31-32
Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? Or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear?
For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all.

1 PETER 5:6-7
Humble yourselves therefore under the might hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

PROVERBS 3:5-6
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Worrying means that I can try to solve the problem myself. That I take it into my hands and walk around the issue so many times and not find a solution.

Does that really give me peace to have worried about the situation and to still come up empty handed with no solution?

If I don’t “worry” about a situation, does that mean that I am not concerned with it, or that I don’t understand what is happening, or does it negate the seriousness of a situation?

No, it means I have perspective on what is going on and that I can’t change it within my own strength, might or flesh.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5
For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raise up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

JOHN 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

The bible clearly says that we are not at war with humans themselves but against the mighty powers that are at work behind the scenes that cause and manipulate and deceive us into acting out what is against God’s principals, thus causing the natural manifestation of what is going on the spirit realm.

The outward actions of human nature, is directly related to the spirit realm and what is going on “behind the scenes”.

Does my worrying and war in the “flesh” change was is going on in the spirit?

The answer to that is “no”.

The flesh can not war against spirit, but spirit can war against spirit.

Ephesians 6 tells us what our battle gear is in the spirit and what it looks like, and if we put it on we are ready for battle in the spirit.

Does my worrying tell God “look I care about this so much I am going to keep on worrying, I want you to see how important this is to me by how much I am worried about it”

Can I really move the hand of God with worry?

The answer to that is “no”.

My worry does not impress God.

Does God say that I can’t have emotions or feel something when I have trials in my life?

No, it simply means that I realize that no matter how much I worry, my worry does not change the situation or that my emotions are not what move the hand of God.

Prayer and petition by faith move the hand of God.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.
And God’s peace (shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace) which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Faith is the channel in which we approach God and receive from God.

We need to learn how to use the faith we already have. If we don’t have any faith, then we need to go out and get some, the scriptures clearly say faith comes when we hear God’s word.

ROMANS 10:17
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.

Now we see we must hear God’s word to have get faith.

Now, that we have started to build faith, we need to learn what it is.

If you think of faith as a channel then “by faith” will make sense to you, because there are many ways to receive something, like “by mail”, “by boat”, “buy delivery truck”, etc…God’s channel of delivery to his children is “by faith”. And faith is our path to Him for prayer, petition, and thanksgiving.

You see even the scriptures (EPHESIANS 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, 9 not by works, so that no one can boast) say by faith you have been saved through grace. Faith is the channel is which you are saved. You put your faith in Jesus and “by faith” you receive what Jesus did then confess with your mouth.

Words are powerful stuff, the devil wants us to think that we are powerless to do anything about our situation. Well, we kinda are, until the word of God comes on the scene.

Scripture tells us the God’s word is a sword (Ephesians 6:17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God).

What ever comes out of our mouth is what we will be drawn to and ultimately believe and receive.

So if I sit here and worry and speak that out of my mouth, I will be drawn to that thing I am speaking. Because “by faith” I am receiving what is coming out of my mouth.

MATTHEW 12:34
You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.

ROMANS 10:9
For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raises him from the dead, you will be saved.

The above scriptures indicate whatever a person believes will come out of their mouth. That is why the bible says that “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord” you will be saved.

As you can see the bible clearly corresponds what we believe in our hearts we speak out of our mouth. And “by faith” we receive from God.

If I speak negative, I will receive negative, but if I speak the words of the living God I will receive life in my body and my spirit and I will speak it over others as well.

If I speak God’s help and mercy, love, and grace into a situation, I will receive it “by faith”.

My worrying does not impress God because it is not the channel he uses to accept a prayer or give deliverance.

The Bible does not say “by your worrying you are saved, or healed or delivered”, it says “by faith”.

EVERYTHING we receive from God is “by faith”.

God’s channel is faith.

My worrying does not impress Him, FAITH is what moves the mighty hand of the living God.

“Seeing is believing” – sound familiar – it should – in western culture you are taught this from the beginning. Your experience taught you that believing in something not seen is not worth the disappointment if you didn’t get it in the end, so you wait to get it before you believe. This mentally sets us up for a challenge in Christianity. Because remember “by faith” we received from God and in Hebrews 11:1 faith is the substance of things hoped for and not yet seen. So what you have been taught through experience contradicts what the bible says faith really is.

You see Satan is really sneaky and evil and is a plain deceiver and liar. JOHN 8:44

The major avenue a human learns something is by experience. If we are taught something out of experience it becomes part of who we are, it becomes a habit, belief or stronghold in our life.

Now Satan works by planting a thought in your head and then causes a disappointing experience in conjunction with what you hoped for and didn’t get so then when you hope for something and don’t get it, then suddenly the “faith” you had to receive that thing didn’t happen so now you believe “seeing is believing” and Satan has clogged up or stolen the channel in which God uses to get to you and you to him.

Hebrews 11:1
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen

So we learn from the above scripture that faith is a “substance” and “the evidence of things not yet seen”

Notice it says “not yet” seen, it does not say “never seen”.

The Bibles tells us in Hebrews 11:1 what faith is, in Romans 10:17 tells us that how to get faith:

ROMANS 10:17
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.

Now we can see that “by faith” is the channel that we use to get to God and he uses it to get to us.

Start using your channel of faith for prayer and petition and believe in your heart you have received it. PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7

ISAIAH 55:10-11 says that his word will not return to him void, it will accomplish the thing He sent it to do, but if we don’t first receive it through the channel of faith, how then will it even get to us to begin it’s work?

If you don’t receive instant deliverance, it does not mean that you have not received a measure of healing. The scripture says the measure of faith that you use, it will be measured back to you. LUKE 6:38

When you build up and practice using your faith, your healing process will increase because you are using your faith in a higher measure so in using your faith in a higher measure the higher measure will be measured back to you in return.

The more measure of faith you use in your situation, the more measure of deliverance you will receive.

In conclusion, God is not moved by my worrying, He wants me to use my channel of faith using prayer and petition, (PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7) to get to Him and put on my battle gear in EPHESIANS 6 and then practice what it says in 2 CORINTHINANS 10:4-5.
